Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: June 2026
TastyNest is a free, reader-supported food publication. To keep it that way, we run display advertising, occasionally publish sponsored content, and use affiliate links. This page explains exactly how that works.
1. Display advertising
Pages on TastyNest may display advertisements served through third-party advertising partners. Ads are loaded asynchronously so they do not block the recipe or article from loading, and we work to ensure ads do not autoplay sound, cover the recipe card on entry, or interfere with reading. Editorial content is never written, edited or approved by advertisers.
2. Affiliate links
Some links to products on TastyNest are affiliate links. If you click one and buy the product, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only link to products we have personally used or that meet our editorial recommendation criteria.
3. Sponsored content
From time to time we partner with brands on sponsored recipes or articles. When that happens, the post is clearly labelled "Sponsored" or "Paid partnership with [brand]" at the top, and we retain full editorial control over how the recipe is developed, tested and described.
4. Free product samples
We occasionally receive complimentary cookbooks, ingredients or kitchen tools for review. Receiving a sample never guarantees coverage. If a review is influenced by a sample we received, we say so in the article.
5. How this funds the site
Advertising and affiliate revenue pays for hosting, the test kitchen, ingredient costs, photography equipment, and the two writers who run TastyNest. Without it, the recipes you read for free wouldn't exist.
6. Your choices
