Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 2026
TastyNest is committed to making its recipes and articles usable by as many people as possible, including readers with visual, motor, cognitive or hearing impairments. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a baseline.
What we do
- Semantic HTML headings and landmark regions on every page.
- Descriptive alternative text on recipe and article images.
- Color contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG AA on body text and interactive elements.
- Keyboard-navigable menus, forms and recipe controls.
- Readable type at a comfortable default size with a responsive layout that supports zoom up to 200% without loss of content.
- Visible focus styles on all interactive elements.
Known limitations
Some embedded third-party content (for example, videos or social embeds) may not fully meet our accessibility standards. Where possible we provide a text-based alternative inside the article itself.
Report a barrier
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on TastyNest, please email accessibility@tastynest.example with the page URL and a short description. We aim to respond within two working days and to fix critical barriers as quickly as possible.
